I thought all attorneys dealt with the law to some degree.
I have one class telling me that a defense lawyer must not allow his client or witnesses to give perjured testimony and another telling me that there is nothing he can do if he knows it is perjury because of the attorney-client privilege. Anyone care to elaborate? Thank you!
But to excuse himself from the case, doesn’t he have to give the court a reason? And in doing so, isn’t he violating the attorney-client privilege?
i mean…she is gorgeous. ive 22 always have been single. been a virgin forver. im handsome…some say. i dont have a reputation but im working on become a business attorney and studying corporate/federal law.
on of scale of 1 out of 100……….do you think she has a bf? She doesn’t talk much to any guys? She looks at me though she is intimidated.
Our professor was talking about marriage and she was look straight at me…..wtf…
The colleges I am looking at offers an Educational Admin/Law degree and one with Clinical Psych. Does anyone know if this degree would still make you able to be an attorney? Are these degrees valuable?
Need to domesticate/enter foreign judgment order in CT and file motion to reopen, rehear and vacate based on Atty negligence and lack of fiduciary responsibility. Divorced final in 1999 in another state – 2001 ex and kids moved to CT – I took her back (should of been in CT but incompetent), to original court in 04/05. My Atty filed consent motions, orders stipulations etc without my approval or discussion. All opportunities per these "Consent” filings had a continuance for me to argue and hear my motion. THREE times it was PASSED – NOONE SHOWED – as my Atty never told me of these and didn’t bother to show up. I am now out a lot of money she is in contempt of basically all orders under original decree and I have suffered emotionally, financially, my career and worst of all with kids basically cut off due to parent alienation. I am going to represent my self because I cannot afford an atty. Unless pro-bono. Hoping to at least get a couple of free consults. Make too much despite neg. Cash flow and Net worth to qualify for any state legal aid etc tried that.

I started applying for social security benefits in July. I started the process with an attorney at a law firm. At this point all of the paperwork is in and I will get a decision at some point. If my claim was accepted without an attorney I would receive more. Was I better off to start this process with an attorney and in most cases aren’t most people denied the first time?
After 3 years of visitation and split custody my boyfriend was recently taken to court on a custody/ visitation suit by his ex. The mother wants him to have the children for more time then he already does. The judge adjourned the case and an Attorney/ Law Guardian was appointed to the children. The law guardian has requested that she visit the children at both my boyfriends house and their mothers house. My bf has made an appointment for the law guardian to come to our house on the children’s next visit and I’m wondering What should we expect when she(the law guardian) gets here.
What does the law guardian do once she arrives, does she sit back and watch how we interact, does she ask questions, does she do both? What is her overall job? I’m assuming to determine the best place for the children to live?
The mother also wants sole custody.
